Dental Chair XO for Four-handed Assistance
Danish XO chairs are said to be „Mercedes Benzes“among dental chairs. They are very comfortable, have an ergonomic design and make it possible for the patients to be treated in lying position. It happens quite often that patients doze off during treatment. These chairs enable dentists to carry out four-handed cooperation with their assistants, the treatment therefore takes place smoothly and effectively. As the chairs are ergonomic, they are also health-friendly for the treating personnel.
Digital X-ray System with CT Vatech
This digital X-ray is an X-ray system 3 in 1. It enables high-quality panoramic and cephalo X-rays as well as detailed CT examination. Panoramic X-ray is taken during the entrance examination of new patient and helps the dentist to get the overall picture about mouth situation and adjacent face structures. Side cephalo pictures are used especially for orthodontic treatment with braces. CT examination gives the dentist detailed 3D information about the mouth conditions. The equipment enables to e.g. find out density of the bone, create micro-incisions or 3D modellings which are used particularly during replacement of missing teeth by implants. The radiation is very low as this X-ray system is digital and one of the latest.
The use of microscope is another step of modern medicine heading towards enhancement of quality and success of treatment. It enables up to 19 times multiple enlargement of the operating field. The microscope is used especially during endodontic treatment, i.e. cleaning or filling of root canals or it is used during the removal of old root fillings. However, the benefits of the microscope and its use are extensive e.g. during the making of fillings, during surgical operations or when checking-up other dental interventions.
Implantation Unit KaVo
Implantation unit is surgical equipment which enables surgeons and periodontists to create satisfactory situation in the mouth for the placement of implants. It is also used for plastic treatment of dental bed. Foot control of the unit provides the surgeon with (instead of obstructing cables and tubes) more space and freedom during intervention. The ability of the unit to be sterilized after each use brings the patient high hygienic security and comfort.
Intraoral X-ray Gendex
Intraoral X-ray is a digital X-ray using radiovisiography method. This method is very considerate as for very low radiation dosage and is much more accurate than traditional X-ray technology based on X-ray film and its development. It brings high depiction quality of each detailed picture, which is essential for quality diagnostics. Also the patient feels comfortable as he/she is being X-rayed directly on the chair and there is no need for him/ her to go anywhere else.
Ultrasonic Technology EMS with Tail-pieces Start X
Ultrasonic technology is used for the removal of tartar or provisional fillings. It can also be used for a condensation of fillings in the tooth or for root canal treatment. Hard-metal tail-pieces are set vibrating by the ultrasound and enable extremely health friendly and atraumatic intervention in the mouth. The tartar peels off the tooth; it is washed down by water and removed from the tooth by suction. The removal of tartar is therefore enamel-friendly and the enamel is not damaged by ultrasound at all.
Our sterilizer Vacuklav is that of the B type, which classifies top class with highest and most strict demands. This type of sterilizers is usually classified also as that of future. It is suitable for sterilization of all dental instruments (including hollow instruments) and for all types of sterilizing covers. The sterilizer makes it possible for interventions that used to be able to be carried out formerly solely in hospital - such as implantology - to be carried out in an outpatient way.
Endomotor and Apexlocator NSK
Endodontic set includes endomotor and apexlocator. Apexlocator serves for exact measurement of root canal length; endomotor drives endodontic instruments that clean, shape and prepare root canals for filling. This set therefore enables root canal treatment – so called endodontics – rescuing teeth previously determined for extraction.
NiTi Endodontic Instruments Protaper
NiTi endodontic instruments are firm as well as elastic and flexible instruments made of nickel-titanium alloy. They are powered by endomotor and used for cleaning and shaping of root canals. Nickel-titanium alloy provides the root instruments with more flexibility compared to previously used steel instruments. It is therefore used with advantage for root canal treatment of those canals that have more difficult anatomy, especially those that have a simple or double curve. Although the treatment is more costly, it is faster for the patient and usually of higher quality than that using hand tools made from stainless steel.
Mixing Unit for Polyether Impression Materials Pentamix
Pentamix is an automatic mixing unit for polyether impression materials. With a single touch of a button, Pentamix Automatic Mixing Unit always mixes and dispenses a fully homogeneous mixture for flawlessly accurate impressions and perfectly manufactured works. The mixture is free of voids that could unfavourably interfere with the accuracy of the impression. The machine also not only saves time for personnel but it is environmentally friendly as well – it dispenses only the particular amount of material needed, which means lesser waste. Considering high costs and special characteristics, polyether materials are used for impressions of specific situations in the mouth.
Impression Materials A Silikon
Impression materials are dental materials that serve to truly depict situation in the mouth and to transfer it to laboratory for manufacture of dental replacements. Impression materials A silicon do not produce any secondary waste such as water or alcohol when compared to common impression materials. This demonstrates strongly on material contraction and its memory. The impression is then more accurate, lasts longer and enables manufacturing of more accurate dental replacements.
Galvanocauter is a high frequency operating apparatus used for removal or plastic correction of soft tissues. Galvanocauterization leads to lower postoperative soreness and faster heal. Cauterized tissue does not bleed and enables to carry out such procedures in one session that were not possible to be carried out at all in the past (teeth had to be extracted) or such procedures that would need two or more sessions with several days in between for healing of soft tissues. It is most often used to stop gum bleeding, for plastic gum corrections or to uncover teeth in such a way that they can be treated by e.g. dental fillings or dental replacements.
Dental Arch Artex
Dental Arch Artex is a metal construction which imitates human jaw apparatus. It serves for finding out of specific mouth shape and patient ´s occlusion in a way that these measurements can be transferred to the laboratory. The replacement is then manufactured optimally not only from aesthetic but also from the functional point of view. Well functioning replacement enables both quality articulation and jaw chewing function but also good function of the jaw and good tension of muscles.
Dentaldam Flexi Dam
Dental dam is a small tight-able membrane which serves to isolate teeth on which the dentist works, so that they are not bathed in saliva and remain totally dry. It can be quickly and easily fixed and the patient benefits from comfortable treatment during which he/she can easily swallow (and it also quite frequently happens – doze off). Dental dam is used especially for the making of white fillings so that high quality bondage is created between the tooth and the new material. It is also used for root canal treatment where it enables full protection of the canal from being contaminated by saliva.
